Rethinking the learning spaces

Service Design
Skills: Primary and secondary Research, Mapping, Analysing, Interview
March 2021— April 2021
Project Overview
In a team of 4 we wanted to gain insights into the current collaboration between the different Fjord offices globally to improve the learnings between different studios. We found the problem area and designed an intervention point to implement a strategy. To address this problem in a human-centered way, we collected data through primary research - interviews and ethnographic probes and secondary research. All our findings and data have been mapped and analyzed to identify the problems and potential opportunities for our design intervention.

Our design strategy was an Internal knowledge base software/program. We concluded to create an add-on for Microsoft Teams, called Fjord Knowledge Exchange with new networking features to bring together lost information within the organisation and improve knowledge transfer, be it on a project basis or client meeting preparation.

After conducting five interviews, surveys, visiting the studio analysing and mapping the problem and intervention areas we came up with a strategy and action plan.

As Fjord is a global company, we created a knowledge base program, therefore different offices can easily communicate and share knowledge and the information are not lost.

The project was presented for Fjord studio's employees.
